The receptacle cannot be replaced because a GFI receptacle requires power to function and the IPLC unit does not have a power supply until a load is attached. Only once the load is attached will the IPLC components check for short circuits. If GFI is required by local code, you need to install GFI breakers at the panel or a GFI dead front between the breakers and the IPLC unit and we recommend using the M210TN.
